Professional Background

Born in China in 1981, moved to Japan in 2000. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from Chiba University, followed by a Master's degree in Management of Technology (MOT) from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

After completing graduate studies, joined Nikko Asset Management, where he worked as a Business Analyst in the Information Systems Dept., gaining extensive experience in operational workflows within the asset management industry. Later, joined Nomura Securities' Finance Department as a Financial Analyst, where he was responsible for weekly and monthly revenue analysis of the group's wholesale business. 

In 2010, joined FISCO as an Investment specialist, leading the divestment of subsidiary, due diligence, acquisitions, and PMI for multiple companies, including listed companies. He was also involved in Pre-IPO investments overseas and the formation and management of offshore GP/LP funds.

From July 2013 to January 2019, served as a cross-border M&A advisor in the IBD of Mizuho Securities, covering Asia and the United States. He played a key role in sourcing strategic investment opportunities by leveraging his extensive network.

Subsequently, joined Kuni Umi Asset Management, where he led principal investments, fund structuring and management, and PMI. Additionally, he was responsible for establishing JV with European, Canada, and Chinese state-owned investment firms, as well as advising on M&A transactions for Japanese companies.

In October 2020, he was appointed to IS Securities (now Kuni Umi AI Securities). In January 2021, he became President & CEO, overseeing corporate strategy and fund management.
